Open Migraine Buddy > Menu icon > My Profile > Email. Edit your email address directly from this screen. You will be asked to enter your password to confirm the change.
If you signed in using Facebook or Google, you first need to set a password, using the ‘Change password’ feature (see next question).
If you find a typo in your account email address (typically “.con” instead of “.com”) or if you no longer have access to this email address, you run the risk of permanently losing access to your account in case you forgot your password.
To avoid this, take a screenshot of Menu > My Profile screen showing your invalid/inaccessible account email address. Then go to Home screen > Records > Attacks. The attack summary screen with the most recent attacks on top is now displayed. Take a screenshot. Send both screenshots to Jenny at email@example.com proving that you are the legitimate owner of your account, and asking to update your account email address (it will be updated to the address you used to send the email). This process is manual. It may take up to three days and we may ask you additional details to make sure that you are the legitimate owner of the account. Once you have checked and made sure your account email address is correct, log out the app and update your password.
