1 – Open a daily, weekly or monthly record: you can test different record durations and adopt the most comfortable for you.
2 – Keep the record open and add notes in the Notes section with the time stamp feature, to account for changes in pain intensity for instance – try not to add too many notes to a record, so that it remains easily readable when you export your records for your doctor.
3 – When you have finished recording, press ‘Remind me later’ so that your ongoing record is saved and kept open for later changes.

Open Migraine Buddy > Menu Icon > Health Events > + Icon > Treatment.
These notes can be added to your doctor’s report.
Open Migraine Buddy > Features > More > Migraine Impact Reports.
Tap on the relevant record in the calendar view. Change Migraine Attack by the desired type.
To update the report, tap on back arrow and come back.
You cannot create several profiles under the same Migraine Buddy account. We recommend creating a dedicated account on another device for loved ones. You can also log out and log in from the Migraine Buddy app to switch between accounts.
Open Migraine Buddy > Menu Icon > Settings > Sleep Settings.
– Activate automatic sleep detection
– Fill in sleep and wake up time
Then go back to home page:
Records > Sleep > Slide down.
Tick “Set this device as main device for sleep tracking”
Open Migraine Buddy > Record > Next (to attack types)
Select the type of attack you wish to record, such as migraine, tension-type headache, cluster headache, prodrome and postdrome.
You can also add your own attack types by clicking the (+) button at the bottom of the attack types list.
iOS
You can manage different type of notifications directly in the app.
Open Migraine Buddy > Menu Icon > Settings > Notification Settings
If you do not want any you can turn off Migraine Buddy notifications from the settings of your device.
ANDROID
You can turn off Migraine Buddy notifications from the settings of your device.
If Pressure Variation Forecast is on the app Home Page:
Open Migraine Buddy > Tap to Update > Allow Migraine Buddy to access this device location.
If you masked the Pressure Variation Forecast from the app Home Page:
Open Migraine Buddy > Menu Icon > Settings > Homepage Settings > Show pressure variation forecast.
Then follow above steps.
From your device settings, allow Migraine Buddy to access your device location.
OR
If Pressure Variation Forecast is on the app Home Page:
Open Migraine Buddy > Tap to Update > Allow Migraine Buddy to access this device location.
If you masked the Pressure Variation Forecast from the app Home Page:
Open Migraine Buddy > Menu Icon > Settings > Homepage Settings > Show pressure variation forecast.
Then follow above steps.
Open Migraine Buddy > Menu Icon > Settings > Recording Settings > What is your preferred unit of measurement? > Select ‘Metric’ or ‘Imperial’
Tap on menu icon on the upper right part of the screen to add new items, remove existing items or arrange items.
Open Migraine Buddy > Menu Icon > Settings > Recording Settings > What screens do you want to see when recording? Untick the screens you don’t want to see when recording.
You can also do this while recording an attack by tapping on the Menu icon > Auto-skip screen.
Android
Open Migraine Buddy > Menu Icon > Export my records.
iOS
Open Migraine Buddy > Menu Icon > For My Doctor.
OR
Open Migraine Buddy > Records > Attack > Export my records
Open Migraine Buddy > Record > Next (to attack types)
Select the stage of migraine you wish to record: Migraine, Prodrome, Postdrome (migraine hangover).
You can also record your stages of migraine in your Migraine Impact Reports:
Open Migraine Buddy > Features > More > Migraine Impact Reports.
Tap on the relevant record in the calendar view. Change Migraine Attack by prodrome or postdrome.
To update the report, tap on back arrow and come back.
You can update your contact and personal information, subscription preferences and objectives. Open Migraine Buddy > Menu icon > My Profile
You are automatically invited to chat groups in your Notification Center depending on the objectives you set in the app. However you can ask jenny@healint.com to send you the link to a specific group.
You can edit your migraine records directly. Open Migraine Buddy > Records > Attack tab > Tap on relevant record > Change details. Be careful of creating overlapping records when editing the Start time or End time of your attacks.
