The once in a year event is back once again and Migraine Buddy is proud to announce that we are partnering up with the Migraine World Summit again this year! As we speak, we are in the midst of the Summit, happening from 18-26th April! The main agenda of the summit is to not only raise awareness on migraines to the general audience, but also to shed light on topics in which migraineurs may be inclined to learn more about.

Although it is experienced by more than a whopping billion people worldwide, Migraine is still an under-diagnosed, under-treated and under-funded neurological disease. The number of people who understand the qualms about migraines let alone living with it, is incomparable to its severity.

Migraines can turn one’s whole world upside down. It not only affects their physical well being, quality of life, but could also affect their relationships with friends, family and at times even career. Many people experience guilt and shame to admit that they have migraines, which could potentially lead to depression and anxiety.

With an invisible disease such as migraines, stigma is bound to be associated with it. As many battle with the isolation, they struggle with the internal turmoil, and this could ultimately spiral into something worse as they could lose hope, motivation, and progression.

To help everyone and especially migraineurs gain a greater understanding first-hand on migraine related topics they are interested in, over 30 world-leading migraine experts originating from prestigious institutions including the Mayo Clinic, Harvard Medical School, the International Headache Society and many more will be sharing their expertise with everyone through interviews daily.
